Who We are
Delhi Institute of Management & Services was founded in 1970 as a professional body dedicated to the development of human resources in India. The Institute has set for itself the following objectives
MISSION
Is to recruit responsible people in respect of vacancy and company needs. We helps the Clients to save time, money & infrastructure and tries to locate or Train the suitable Candidates to match the Job profile required by the Companies.

During this period the institute has made remarkable progress. Our Institute has trained over 4,00,000 people in various areas of management, Computer, Technical and other professional Courses. About 80% of these persons have either found useful employment or have improved their prospectus in company where they are employed. Ministry of Defence has retained us to conduct various training courses for the retired and retiring personnel. More than 1,20,000 Defence Personnel have been sponsored so far.
DIMS EDUCATION & TRAINING
Delhi Institute of Management & Services has been retained by the top Public Sector Organizations like: Bharat Petroleum Ltd., ECIC, NHPC, HIL and STC to conduct various examinations for fresh appointments as well as departmental promotions. Top Public Sector Organizations like EIL, IOC, and MMTC etc. have retained us to conduct Apprenticeship Act Scheme of the Government of the India.
We are as Nodal Centre/Study Centre conducting Contact Programmers for many prestigious Organizations. Some of them are:

DIMS PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
Delhi Institute has a placement division, which has a rich data bank. It helps employers to find suitable employees and vice-versa. We not only train the students in different trades and professional but also help them getting jobs. Our placement division helps the students to get gainful employment after the completion of their courses. There is a big demand nowadays for trained students in the industry infact our hundreds of our trained students are employed in private sector companies.
DIMS LIBRARY
We have an excellent library well equipped with all kind of Management, Technical and Software books. Students can refer those books for their courses. A variety of books related to different courses are available. Library has over 16000 books on display(C.P, Barakhamba)
DIMS FACULTY
We have got highly qualified and experienced Faculty (Regular & Visiting) from various Industries and Institutions who are always available for guidance to students through telephone, personal contact or through mail. The faculty has been selected for technical skills on the job experience and its ability to make the principles of management or other subjects meaningful to its students. Our instructor possesses the highest degree of competence to be found in Management Education today. They have excellent background in computers and are themselves constantly studying to keep abreast of the latest development.
A variety of teaching methods are used by individual faculty members. These include:
(a) Classroom lectures and discussions of reading material.
(b) Problems, Assignments and cases and discussed and analyzed individually and in groups.
(c) Lectures by guest keepers
(d) Project assignments for participants
Apart from excellent faculty, the head of this organization our founder director LALIT KHUNGAR is highly qualified Manager. After completing M.Tech from KANPUR he joined I.I.M Calcutta. He is M.B.A. with Marketing and Production as specialization. He has 35 years experience of running education courses and institutions.
DIMS DISTANCE LEARNING COURSES
We are conducting many Correspondence courses since 1971. We specialize in the writing and supply of home study courses. These courses have been designed for those who cannot attend the courses personally at the training center. The students who successfully complete any course receive a certificate from our institute.
DIMS INFOTECH
DIMS has started Software Training & Development. Staff of Director General of Foreign Trade, Registrar general of Census, RITES, BSF, State Bank of India & Associate of SBI. Staff is undergoing the Computer Training at DIMS INFOTECH through CMC. DIMS INFOTECH has started associate Schemes for Computer Centre/Institute. They can become associate of DIMS INFOTECH & get all the guidance & certification of their Students.
DIMS INFOTECH has successfully completed the data processing works of many well reputed originations.
Some of them are USAID, PUNJAB board of education.
