Q: What does Bookghar.com Do?

Ans: Bookghar  Enables you to  rent  books  without going to a bookstore or a library and get them delivered to your home through courior or pick up from designated point free of charge.

 Q: How to use Bookghar.com?

Ans: You browse booklist online & request the ones you like and we will send them to you as soon as available.Our mission is to get you in touch with your true friend: Books, by  making it delivered to your home available on your request across Delhi. You can choose from thousands of fiction and non fiction books. We are dedicated to  make reading an easier, enjoyable experience for book lovers across India.

 Q: How do I use Bookghar.com ?

Ans: Bookghar.com suggests you to follow the procedure -

• Register with Bookghar to create your account.
• Browse/search books you would like to read, and add them to your Booklist. It is recommended that you keep at least 10 books in your Booklist.
• We will contact you to verify your address and the date from when you would like get the books.
• Your first set of books will be delivered to the Address that you give us when you register.
• Once you are done with the first set of books, go to Bookghar.com  and navigate to "My Booklist" tab and click on "Ready for Pickup" button
• We will send you your next set of books within two business days and get the ones you are done with picked up.

Q: What is My Booklist?
Ans: Bookshelf is the list of books that you want to read. Books in the Booklist are given a Priority, i.e. the order in which you would like to read the books. It is recommended that you keep at least 15 books in your Bookshelf.

Q: How do I manage My Booklist?
Ans: Information about your chosen books is displayed in "My Bookshelf" tab. Here you will see a list of books in your Booklist, along with options to reprioritize the books and even remove a book from the Bookshelf.

• To add a book to your Booklist, browse/search a book and click on "Add to Booklist" button.
• To remove a book, click on the delete icon on the same row as the book on the Booklist.
• To rearrange books in the Booklist, you have four options
  • Move to First - Move this book to the top of the Booklist.
  • Move one Up - Move this book one level up in priority.
  • Move one Down - Move this book one level down in priority.
  • Move to Last - Move this book to the end of the Booklist.

Q: What plans do you offer and what are the subscription fees?
Ans: We offer very convenient  plans to cater to your reading habits and budget. Please note that pricing is different for Delhi/NCR area and Rest Of India due to difference in delivery and pickup charges.
Please note that members in Rest of India can avail Delhi/NCR pricing (lower pricing) if they choose to return the books on their own. Just choose Self Return as return preference while Registering.

Q: How do I get my books delivered to me the first time?
Ans: When you register with Bookghar.com, a delivery request is generated for you automatically. Don't forget to add books to your booklist! You will get a confirmation call or email from us to confirm your address and date of first delivery.

Q: Can I buy books using Bookghar.com?
Ans: You may like a book so much you want to buy it. Or you may want to gift a book to a friend/child/colleague/boss/niece/nephew/parent...you get the picture! Now, we can save you a trip to the mall. Send us an email with the name of the book that you want to buy. This can be a book you've seen in our catalog, or elsewhere. We will source the book and get it to you. When the book is delivered, you can pay the delivery person just like you do for your subscription.

Of course despite our best efforts we may find that the book you asked for is out of print, out of stock or just not available. If that's the case, we will let you know too. At this time this book buying facility is available to all.

Q: What payment methods are available?
Ans: You can pay through Demand Draft. If you live in Delhi/NCR, or Electronic Transfer through Bank.

Q: Where will I get the books?
Ans: Books will be delivered to you at the Shipping Address you give us when you register. Pick your home address or office address depending on what's convenient for you. All deliveries will be done within normal working hours. Early morning or late evening deliveries are not possible.

Q: Who will deliver/pickup books?
Ans: Books will be delivered and picked-up by Bookghar.com  delivery agents, or our logistics partner.

Q: Can I get books delivered to an alternate address?
Ans: Sure! Just give us a call or send us an email ( Through Contact us page ) with the address where you want the books to be sent.

Q: What if I lose a book?

Please inform us at bookgharinfo@gmail.com. We will have to charge the value of the book.

Q: Can I cancel my membership?

We'd hate to see you go. You can cancel your membership anytime you want. You'll have to return the books you currently hold and your security deposit will be subsequently refunded to you.

Q: Can I rejoin?

You needn't ask! We would love to have you back.

Q: My books haven't arrived , what do I do?

Please call 011-23312187 to confirm

Q: I received a damaged book , what do I do?

Please inform +011 23312187 immediately. We will replace the book.

Q: Why do I receive the last book in my queue during delivery?

We strive to send you your top priority book first. But due to situations where all your top priority books are on circulation - we will have to send you the books that are lower down in your Booklist order!
